Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a plant Environmental Specialist to join the site EHS team. The role focuses on regulatory reports, permits, and environmental compliance within a large manufacturing setting.

You will develop processes to ensure permit compliance, coach line personnel, and coordinate sampling, reporting, and recordkeeping with Federal, State, and Local agencies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in a related technical field.
• Experience with environmental regulatory reports and permits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
