Confident Search Consultants is seeking an EHS professional in Michigan to support environmental compliance at a large union manufacturing plant. The role focuses on regulatory permits, reporting, and environmental management within the site EHS team.

Candidate must have a BS in a related technical field and at least two years of plant environmental experience, with duties including coordinating sampling, preparing reports, and mentoring line personnel on environmental responsibilities.

• Develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinates all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.
