Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety professional to support a large union manufacturing plant in Michigan. The role focuses on management of environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits with emphasis on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

The position is part of the site EHS team, reporting to the Plant EHS Manager and supporting environmental compliance activities across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with environmental compliance programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory reports and permits.
• Experience with water/wastewater/stormwater or waste/SPCC/ Chemical Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure permits compliance.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up;
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Job description

Must have at least (2) years of plant environmental experience and a Bachelor of Science in related technical field only!

Manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits as related with a focus on either water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
