Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking an experienced environmental professional to join a large, union manufacturing plant's EHS team in Muskegon, MI. The candidate will manage environmental issues, regulatory reports and permits with a focus on water/wastewater/stormwater compliance or waste/SPCC/Chemical Management, and will coach line personnel in their environmental responsibilities.

The position reports to the Plant EHS Manager and requires at least 2 years of related experience and a BS

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of plant environmental experience.
• Bachelor of Science in related technical field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure compliance with permits and regulation.
• Coach and mentor line personnel in the execution of their environmental accountabilities.
• Compile and submit required environmental reports to Federal, State and Local Regulatory Agencies.
• Coordinate all Environmental sampling, reporting and follow-up.
• Preparation and submission of required reports and associated recordkeeping.

Position will be a member of the site EHS team, report into the Plant EHS Manager and support environmental compliance activities for a large, union manufacturing plant.
