HydroGeoLogic, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer II based in the Denver, CO area to support EPA, Air Force, and Army Corps of Engineers projects in the Rocky Mountain region.

You will conduct groundwater and soil investigations, participate in remediation efforts, and lead field teams while using modern data tools. The role requires 4+ years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with environmental investigations including groundwater, soil, and surface water sampling.
  • Experience with remediation projects and technical report writing.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (primarily western U.S.).
  • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Possess or obtain OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification upon employment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure field operations adhere to Site Safety and Health Plans and SOPs.
  • Collect water, soil, soil vapor, surface water, and sediment samples.
  • Assist with remedial system installation and operations & maintenance.
  • Provide field subcontractor oversight for remediation and waste handling.
  • Prepare work plans and deliverables (e.g., RI Reports, SSHP/HASPs, memos).
  • Enter, analyze, and interpret environmental data using statistical tools.
  • Lead field teams in data collection and remediation system management.
  • Travel up to 50% within the U.S., mainly in the western region.
