Job summary

AECOM seeks an Environmental Engineer II to join our Seattle, WA team. The role focuses on environmental investigations, groundwater and soil sampling, site remediation, and mentoring junior staff.

You will manage assignments and work with multidisciplinary teams while traveling to project sites in the Pacific Northwest. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency required; sponsorship not available.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass MVR check and background check.

Responsibilities

• Remediation system operation and maintenance.
• Serve as the task lead for environmental projects under PM supervision.
• Coordinate subcontractors and field staff; provide data analysis and report preparation.
• Develop engineering design support and remedial action planning; assist with cost estimating.
• Gather basic engineering data and mentoring for junior engineers.
• Travel to project sites and perform field work across WA and Pacific Northwest.
