HGL (HydroGeoLogic, Inc.) seeks an Environmental Engineer I in Billings, MT to support EPA, DEQ, and Army Corps projects in the Mountain West, focusing on groundwater and soil investigations and remediation of PFAS, solvents, and mine lands.

You’ll conduct sampling, data analysis, and deliverables, using digital tools and AI-assisted writing where appropriate. Travel up to 50% may be required; a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Civil/Geotechnical Eng is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Eng, or Geotechnical Eng or related field.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and organization.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
• Possess or obtain OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification upon employment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies and digital tools to improve project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field sampling of water, soil, soil vapor, surface water and sediment.
• Assist with remediation system installation and operations & maintenance.
• Oversee field subcontractors and manage waste transportation and disposal.
• Prepare work plans and project deliverables (e.g., RI Reports, SSHP/HASPs).
• Assist with data entry, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data.
• Lead field teams and manage remedial systems.
