Job summary

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) in Butte, Montana, seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer, Hydrogeologist, Geological Engineer, or Geologist to apply core environmental engineering and geologic principles on a wide range of projects.

You will collaborate with project managers to prepare high-quality deliverables, collect field data, and assist with reports, work plans, and calculations while supporting drilling and construction oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to environmental engineering, hydrogeology, geology, or geological engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university.
• Ability to obtain EI or GIT certification within two years of employment if not licensed.
• Minimum of 2 years experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Collect field data and assist with engineering reports.
• Develop work plans and calculations; conduct field investigations.
• Oversee drilling and construction activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support project execution with QA/QC and written reporting.
