Job summary

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer in Butte, MT. This full-time role supports engineering services across Montana and the West, focusing on water resources, infrastructure, and environmental projects.

The ideal candidate will contribute to design reports, project deliverables, and coordination with project managers. This entry-level yet hands-on position requires a degree in civil engineering, basic software skills, and willingness to travel to sites and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University.
If not licensed, the ability to obtain an EI certification or PE license within one year of employment.
Valid Driver’s License and insurability under company policy required.

Responsibilities

Sanitary Sewer collection system design.
Stormwater treatment and storage.
Water system pumping facilities and distribution design.
Design of roads, parking lots, subdivisions, and developments.
Utilize design software to apply engineering standards of design.
Understand and assist in preparation of construction plans and specifications.
Construction administration tasks such as bidding, inspection, QA/QC, and documenting daily activities.
