• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, biology, chemistry, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience managing environmental compliance programs in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Environmental Technical Expert and GP Environmental Performance Standard Owner.
• Manage compliance with federal (EPA) and state (TCEQ) environmental requirements (air, wastewater, storm water, waste).
• Support and implement GP’s Environmental Management System and integrate it into plant operations.
• Assess regulatory impact and financial implications of environmental requirements.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for incidents.
• Manage environmental compliance calendar and reporting to outside agencies.
