Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an Environmental/Energy Manager to oversee the Environmental Management System (EMS) and lead environmental compliance across the contract. The role reports to the Project Manager and ensures sustainable practices align with Navy and regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will develop and monitor environmental and energy efficiency programs, supervise Environmental personnel, ensure training records are complete, and participate in management and Navy energy meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Minimum two years’ experience with environmental procedures similar to the contract.
• Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMSs).
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and federal energy laws and policy applicable to operations like this contract, including EPCRA, CWA, Clean Air Act, and other regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the EMS and supervision of Environmental personnel.
• Ensure Contractor operations adhere to the EMS goals and sustainability requirements.
• Develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, policies and programs.
• Develop, implement and monitor energy efficiency strategies and programs.
• Review SOPs, maintenance procedures and product ordering for energy efficient practices.
• Oversee EMS and be a member of the QMS.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and training documentation.
• Attend environmental and energy management meetings.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties.
