The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 7+ years) and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Experience with EMI, Nuclear Engineering, or Lab Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, hiring, and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
• Prepare/deliver performance reviews, coach, and assist in career development.
• Plan salaries and budgets; manage staff performance and staff onboarding.
• Ensure staff/resources for successful project execution and adherence to budgets.
• Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Collins Aerospace.
