Job summary

North Wind Site Services is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Chemical Data Validator I to review subcontracted laboratory data for compliance with EPA, DOE, and DOD guidelines. The role focuses on QA/QC, data integrity, and timely reporting, with remote-friendly collaboration and office-based duties.

The candidate will prepare validation reports, manage workload, and communicate findings clearly to project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in environmental science or chemistry or equivalent.
• Knowledge of principles of scientific study, field investigation, sampling, QA of chemical measurements, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Validate analytical chemistry data following national standards and company procedures.
• Ensure proper preparation, preservation, and laboratory operations for the assigned methods.
• Prepare written data validation reports and checklists with findings and data qualifications.
• Monitor workloads and manage backlog to meet due dates.
