Job summary

North Wind Site Services is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Chemical Data Validator II to review subcontracted lab data for EPA, DOE and DOD compliance. The role emphasizes QA/QC, data interpretation, and reports to support environmental remediation projects.

You will work on validating analytical results, preparing data validation reports, and coordinating with teams to ensure timeliness and accuracy across client datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in environmental, chemistry or similar; or 3 to 5 years equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of scientific study principles, field investigation, sampling, QA of chemical measurements, and documentation.
• Experience reviewing analytical reports to evaluate quality per EPA/DoD/DoE guidance.

Responsibilities

• Validate analytical chemistry data following national standards and procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive data validation reports and checklists with findings.
• Operate databases and spreadsheets and manage workload to meet due dates.
