Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator to support our Contamination Assessment and Remediation group. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week) across US offices, focusing on data validation, QA/QC, and coordination of analytical methods.

You will verify data using USEPA guidance, prepare validation reports, and collaborate with project teams and external laboratories to meet data quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience (lab bench preferred).
• Experience validating GC/MS and PFAS analyses; familiarity with EPA methods.
• Experience with data validation and QA Project Plans (QAPPs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry for project teams.
• Perform data verifications and validations per USEPA and regional guidance; prepare validation reports.
• Assist with laboratory coordination and method selection based on QA/QC parameters.
• Monitor lab turnaround times and ensure data quality objectives are met.
• Deliver and be accountable for technical assignments and data quality assessments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants/labs.
