North Wind Site Services is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Chemical Data Validator I to review subcontracted lab data for compliance with EPA, DOE, and DOD guidelines and project plans. The role emphasizes data quality, written reporting, and timely communication.

The position requires a BS in environmental science or chemistry and the ability to work independently or in a team, with readiness to work onsite in Las Vegas, NV and adapt to project schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of science in environmental, chemistry or similar; or equivalent experience in analytical laboratories.
• Knowledge of scientific study principles, field investigation, sampling, QA of chemical measurements, and documentation.

• Validate analytical chemistry data following national standards and company procedures.
• Ensure proper preparation, preservation, and laboratory operations for the assigned methods.
• Prepare comprehensive data validation reports and checklists with findings, including data qualifications.
• Quickly and accurately operate databases and spreadsheets.
• Monitor workloads and manage backlog to meet due dates.
• Communicate promptly with peers and supervisors.
