Job summary

GHD seeks an Environmental Chemistry Data Validator/Laboratory Coordinator to join our US offices. The role is hybrid (3 days in office weekly) and focuses on data validation, QA/QC, and lab coordination within environmental chemistry projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in GC-MS/PFAS analyses, EPA methods, and data quality reporting, with excellent communication and teamwork across the Americas. This position offers opportunities to impact diverse federal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years environmental analytical chemistry experience.
• Experience validating GC-MS and PFAS analyses; data review per EPA methods.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in environmental analytical chemistry to project teams.
• Perform data verifications and validations using USEPA and regional guidance; prepare data validation reports.
• Assist with selection of analytical methodology based on QA/QC parameters.
• Monitor lab turnaround times and ensure data meets QoD requirements.
• Deliver and be accountable for data quality assessments and project objectives.
• Collaborate across the organization with internal teams and outside labs.
