Job summary

ERM in Irvine, California is seeking a Consulting Associate, Scientist or Engineer to contribute to environmental consulting projects across Southern California. You will work with PMs, technical experts and Partners on due diligence, site investigations and sustainability services.

The role emphasizes hands-on field and office work, travel locally, and opportunities to develop technical and project management skills. A Bachelor in related field and 0+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in environmental science, engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical), or related discipline.
• 0+ years of relevant experience; internships and academic research will be considered.
• Capable of thriving in a consulting environment with multiple projects and strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft Phase I ESA reports, including site reconnaissance, records review, and regulatory research.
• Provide technical assistance on environmental compliance and due diligence projects.
• Support environmental due diligence and site investigations, including field inspections and sampling.
• Assist clients with environmental compliance and permitting across air, water, waste, and hazardous materials programs.
• Compile, manage, and analyze environmental data and prepare reports.
