Job summary

ERM in Irvine, California seeks a Senior Consultant for Air Quality Compliance Engineering or Science to lead air quality projects for diverse industries across California and nationwide. You will review permits, advise on strategies, and coordinate with regulators and clients to ensure timely approvals.

The role requires a degree in engineering or environmental science, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of Title V, RECLAIM facilities and air programs.
• Ability to read and apply environmental regulations and guidance documents.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare emission inventories, permit applications, and compliance reports.
• Conduct regulatory applicability evaluations and implement compliance management systems.
• Perform fieldwork, including air compliance assessments and multi-media inspections.
• Liaise with regulators and clients to ensure timely permit approvals.
• Promote safety, collaboration, and excellence across all projects.
