Job summary

GHD’s Construction group is hiring an Environmental Construction Superintendent to oversee construction job sites across the United States, including a 3-year project in western Ohio.

You will lead crews on environmental remediation, earthwork, demolition, dredging and general contracting, ensuring deadlines, quality, safety and budget alignment. This role requires remote project-site work with rotations home; candidates nationwide, with preference for those near western Ohio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of supervisor-level experience in environmental/remediation projects.
• Ability to review project schedules and direct field activities.
• Strong communication with diverse crafts and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of project contracts, specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in cost control and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the site's H&S representative to enforce safety plans.
• Review hazards, perform Job Hazard Analysis and incident reporting.
• Plan pre-task activities and coordinate field resources.
• Lead crafts and subcontractors to meet project requirements and procedures.
• Monitor direct report timecards and ensure accurate reflection of hours.
