Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Construction Superintendent to oversee diverse environmental, heavy civil, and remediation projects across the continental United States. The role will manage site crews, enforce safety plans, and ensure on-time, within-budget project execution.

Occasional relocations to western Ohio are preferred for a major upcoming project. Candidate will work remotely on project sites with rotations home and will coordinate with cross-functional teams including health &

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of supervisor level experience; exposure to environmental remediation, heavy civil, demolition, mining, dredging or related projects.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Health and Safety Plans with site personnel.
• Review hazards and participate in Job Hazard Analysis and incident investigations.
• Plan field activities and coordinate resources across crafts and subcontractors.
• Direct work performance, productivity, and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and reflect work tasks properly.
• Assist in planning schedules, workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Mentor and train direct reports and subcontractors.
