Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) seeks an Environmental Compliance Coordinator to manage the environmental portion of the Distribution Transformer Inspection Program, balancing office tasks with field support in a hybrid role near Richmond, VA. You’ll coordinate with contractors, track oil spill remediation, and ensure regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–8 years of environmental experience, strong communication, and data management skills, plus travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental management, SWPPP/CGP inspections, waste management or spill response.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for data tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the environmental portion of the Distribution Transformer Inspection Program.
• Maintain spreadsheets/databases tracking transformer status, oil contamination, and repairs.
• Coordinate with Asset Management and track budgets and spend rates.
• Communicate spill remediation and regulatory reporting requirements.
