Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking an Environmental Compliance Coordinator to manage the environmental portion of the Distribution Transformer Inspection Program. The role blends office-based program management with field support across 32 districts, including spill response and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator, able to coordinate with contractors, maintain databases, and support timely remediation and documentation in

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in environmental management, SPCC/SWPPP inspections, waste management, spill response/remediation, and related regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders and contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel 2.5–3.5 hours to regional locations and overnight 1–3 nights per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage the environmental portion of the Distribution Transformer Inspection Program.
• Maintain spreadsheets and databases tracking transformer replacement and oil contamination/spill status.
• Coordinate with Asset Management across 32 districts to roll out programs.
• Track spend rates and manage budgets.
