Job summary

Exxon Mobil is seeking an Environmental Coordinator located at the supported site in Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on regulatory analyses, maintaining compliance systems and supporting reporting requirements.

The position requires knowledge of emissions calculations, 3+ years of environmental experience, and familiarity with major environmental regulations. Strong leadership and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of emissions calculations and methodology.
• At least 3 years of relevant environmental experience.
• Solid understanding of Federal & State environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Advise on environmental and regulatory requirements and collaborate to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Execute day-to-day Environment, Climate and Regulatory practices, programs, data management and reporting including OIMS; provide training and support to operations.
• Support environmental business planning, permitting, and environmental impact assessment processes.
• Build and engage the network to support compliance assurance systems.
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with environmental standards.
