Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, Texas seeks an Environmental Coordinator to support regulatory analyses, develop and maintain compliance systems, and ensure reporting obligations are met. The role requires staying current with evolving regulations and coordinating with SSHE and Law resources to drive compliant operations.

The position involves reviewing changes for compliance, supporting internal/external reporting for programs such as Air Emissions Inventory, Title V, NSPS, GHG, TRI, SPCC, and Spill

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • Strong business ethics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting Oil and Gas Upstream and Unconventional Assets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emissions calculations and methodology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal & State of New Mexico environmental regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide environmental compliance support to operations, including analysis of environmental regulations and applicability determinations.
  • Support review of physical and operational changes to ensure compliance with assigned regulations, utilizing existing best practices or implementing new best practices.
  • Complete internal and external reporting obligations for assigned reports/requirements.
  • Support compliance assurance processes for assigned programs (e.g. Air Emissions Inventory, Title V, NSPS, GHG, TRI, SPCC, Spill Reporting) including, Regulatory Analysis, Regulatory Interpretations and Guidance and Compliance Support Tools (e.g. checklists, workshops, manuals, databases)
  • Manage agency enforcement actions as necessary using available SSHE and Law resources
  • Coordinate internal Corporate Environmental Reporting
