Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS regulatory professional to provide high-level regulatory expertise, manage environmental programs, and coordinate with external agencies and consultants.

The role involves developing cross-functional plans and ensuring compliance across multiple departments. The candidate should have 5+ years in environmental services, strong knowledge of RCRA/OSHA/CWA/CAA regulations, and excellent communication and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental or related field required.
• Five (5) or more years’ hands-on experience in environmental services; EHS/regulatory preferred.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, OSHA, CWA, CAA).
• Excellent analytical, communication, organization, interpersonal and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory expertise and evaluate regulatory, permitting, or environmental implications of proposed actions and train others.
• Develop and implement cross-functional programs and project plans for EHS regulatory programs (RCRA/CAA permitting, audits, transportation).
• Coordinate outside consultants, regulatory agencies, and customers to achieve project goals.
• Act as liaison and trainer for RIS Operations, RIS Technology, RES Sales, Marketing and new ventures.
• Manage and audit safety, health and environmental programs and respond to regulatory agencies in writing.
