Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a regulatory compliance professional to manage environmental permits, programs, and policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will advise internal customers and support corrective actions as needed.

Key duties include permit applications, inspections, reporting, and training. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory environment compliance in hazardous waste, solid waste, water and air.

Responsibilities

• Participates with management personnel in establishing procedures for administering regulatory compliance programs.
• Reviews analytical data and environmental performance metrics and summarizes and interprets results.
• Prepares permit applications and modifications.
• Conducts regular environmental inspections and supports and tracks corrective actions, if necessary.
• Prepares regulatory and permit required reporting.
• Conducts environmental compliance training.
