Job summary

You will coordinate outside consultants and agencies, train staff, monitor changes in rules, and prepare responses to regulatory bodies while leading EMS and ISO 14001 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental or related field.
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in the environmental services industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, OSHA, CWA, CAA).
• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data reporting.
• Ability to work with external consultants and multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates regulatory, permitting, or environmental implications of proposed actions.
• Develops and implements cross-functional programs for EHS regulatory programs (RCRA, CAA, etc.).
• Coordinates outside consultants, regulatory agencies, and customers to meet goals.
• Acts as liaison, trainer, and regulatory consultant to multiple internal teams.
• Manages and audits safety, health and environmental programs.
• Monitors regulatory changes and communicates impact to the organization.
• Prepares written responses to regulatory agencies as needed.
• Supports ISO 14001 EMS objectives.
• Provides field support, data interpretation and validation.
