Job summary

Ross Environmental Services is seeking a Regulatory Affairs professional to provide high level regulatory expertise and evaluate environmental implications of proposed actions. You will train personnel on systems, manage EHS programs, and coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in environmental services, with strong communication and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, environmental or related field is required.
• 5+ years' hands-on experience in environmental services or regulatory field preferred.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, OSHA, CWA, CAA, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data and recommend actions with sound judgment.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to train and communicate with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates regulatory, permitting, or environmental implications of proposed actions and advises management.
• Develops and implements cross-functional programs and project plans for EHS regulatory programs.
• Manages outside consultants, regulatory agencies, and customers to achieve project goals.
• Acts as liaison, trainer, technical expert, and regulatory consultant across internal teams.
• Monitors regulatory changes and communicates impacts to the organization; participates in trade associations as needed.
• Prepares written responses to regulatory agencies and maintains compliance documentation.
• Supports ISO 14001 EMS objectives and permitting activities.
• Provides field support, data interpretation, and data validation for environmental programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
