Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Environmental Compliance professional to manage the facility's environmental permits, programs, and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and to advise internal customers.

The role includes developing procedures, preparing permit applications, maintaining permits, and coordinating with regulatory agencies. Strong knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations and TSDF practices is required, along with analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulations specific to environmental waste management and best practices.
• Understanding of current hazardous waste treatment storage and disposal facility (TSDF) practices.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA regulations, and ISO programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish procedures for administering regulatory compliance programs.
• Provide regular reports to governmental agencies and senior management.
• Maintain and review environmental monitoring and quality assurance records.
• Prepare permit applications and modifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and participate in audits.
