Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to support air, water, waste, and related environmental programs across SEMASS and satellite facilities in Massachusetts. The role involves permitting, testing, inspections, and regulatory reporting in a heavy-industrial setting.

You will work with operations, contractors, consultants, and regulators to ensure readiness for inspections and ongoing compliance, contributing to a safer, more sustainable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, chemistry, or biology.
• Three or more years of direct environmental compliance experience in an active heavy-industrial setting.
• Experience with multiple environmental programs (air, CEMS, solid waste, ash, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste).

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliant air, CEMS, ash, solid-waste, stormwater, wastewater, potable-water, and hazardous-waste programs.
• Assist in permit applications, renewals, modifications, and supporting documentation for facility construction and operation.
• Conduct environmental testing, data review, documentation, and regulatory reports with accurate records.
• Perform environmental walkdowns at SEMASS and satellite facilities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing and compliance work at satellite facilities with contractors, engineers, and labs.
