Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Compliance Professional for our Boston, MA office to lead environmental health and safety compliance across multidisciplinary projects, including decommissioning, restoration, remediation, and construction support. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 20+ years of post‑education experience in compliance‑focused environmental, health and safety consulting.
• Working knowledge of state and federal environmental laws and regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, TSCA, PHMSA, SARA, CWA, CAA, DOT, OSHA).
• Project management experience with small to mid‑level projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS compliance support for clients including permits, reports, site assessments, and audits.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations to address environmental health and safety issues.
• Facilitate account opportunity development including scopes, bids, and contracts.
• Collaborate with professionals and leadership to provide strategic client solutions.
• Develop business contacts and client base and cross-sell of other WSP capabilities.
• Plan and manage projects per approved scopes and budgets; deliver high-quality deliverables on time.
• Work with cross‑functional teams and interact with regulators, subcontractors, and clients professionally.
