Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, is seeking an Environmental Manager to administer the plant environmental program and ensure compliance with federal and state laws while aligning with corporate policies.

You will help deploy environmental strategies, monitor performance, and support best practices across operations, contributing to responsible environmental stewardship and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year/Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, engineering, natural sciences, law or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the environmental field, cement, mining or related industry preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing and understanding warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and laws.
• Maintain a compliance task list and monitoring system with deadlines.
• Evaluate site environmental performance and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as local contact with regulatory and community stakeholders.
