Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, seeks a Sr Environmental Engineer to administer the plant environmental program and ensure compliance with federal and state environmental laws and regulations.

You will coordinate with other departments, liaise with regulatory agencies, prepare various environmental reports, monitor emissions, and support the company's sustainability goals while promoting a positive environmental image in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 year/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental field in cement/mining industries
• Proficient in English communication
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Administers plant environmental program per federal/state laws
• Liaises with regulatory agencies during inspections
• Coordinates with departments to ensure permit compliance
• Prepares environmental reports, renewals, questionnaires, and surveys
• Monitors emissions data and coordinates stack testing
• Supports sustainability goals and community environmental image
