Job summary

AEP Environmental Coordinator in Cresap, WV will oversee environmental compliance programs, permits, and corporate policies across regional plants and projects. You’ll work with Environmental Services and internal teams to ensure regulatory adherence and effective program implementation.

You will train personnel, develop materials, and coordinate contractor support, reporting, and documentation to support air, water, waste, and site investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• For Senior, higher degree, experience and certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental activities and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and guidance on environmental requirements to staff.
• Support agency notifications and post-incident follow-up reporting.
• Develop and maintain environmental documents and records per standards.
• Manage relationships with Environmental Services contractors and internal teams.
