Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• OR Associate degree in a relevant field with two years of power plant or utility field operations experience.
• OR High School Diploma/GED with four years of Environmental, Safety & Health program administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, advise, and assist management and personnel to carry out environmental, safety and health programs.
• Prepare and deliver training on environmental, safety and health programs to employees.
• Conduct observations and coaching to ensure successful program implementation.
• Provide support during audits and inspections of environmental, safety, and health compliance.
• Coordinate and respond to public inquiries regarding environmental matters.
• Develop and maintain environmental documents and records for compliance regulations.
• Advise management on post-event safety and health causal analysis.
• Support in the event of a release, including agency notifications and coordinating cleanup.
