Job summary

Juniper in Oregon designs and manufactures high-performance HVAC and air-handling systems for data centers and healthcare environments. This role leads the EHS program across our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance and driving safety improvements.

You will develop policies, conduct audits, investigations, and training, partnering with HR and operations to maintain a strong safety culture and protect employees.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of occupational health and safety experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS, Safety, or related field.
• Manufacturing environment experience required; CSP or other professional EHS certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, equipment inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and injury prevention programs.
• Provide safety leadership and technical support to operations and employees.
• Conduct safety orientations, training, and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage emergency response and workers’ compensation activities in partnership with HR.
• Evaluate and maintain safety equipment, programs, and required certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
