Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an EHS Manager to lead and design the implementation of environmental, health, and safety systems for the Data Center HVAC Service Team. This role is critical to ensuring a safety start-up and fostering a strong safety culture from day one in support of our mission to safely produce cooling and infrastructure solutions for data centers.

Travel will be 40-50%. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of construction/HVAC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience with OSHA standards and safety programs.
• Experience implementing quality and safety systems in a construction/start-up environment.
• Experience implementing quality systems in a construction start-up or ramp up.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• CSHO, CSP, or CSMC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training for HVAC service teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Deliver safety orientation and training for new hires and contractors.
• Design and implement environmental management systems and waste/emissions controls.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
• Collaborate with leadership to foster a proactive, safety-focused culture.
• NFPA 70E.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implementEHS policies, procedures, and training programs forour HVAC Service, Maintenance,Commissioning, and Controls Teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal safety, and local environmental, safety, and health regulations.
• Lead job hazard analysis, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Create and deliver safety orientation and training for all new hires and contractors.
• Desi gnandimplementing environmental management systems ( i.e. waste handling, emissions, reporting).
• Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective actions to drive a safety and complaint workplace.
• Partner with leadership and employees tobuild a proactive,behavior-basedsafety culture.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience within a construction environment, preferably in HVAC, or industrial equipment service and maintenance
• OSHA 500 & OSHA 510
• Experience implementing quality systems in a construction start-up or ramp up
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Other certifications or education considered: Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Certified Safety Manager - Construction (CSMC), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
