Job summary

Centor Rx in Millersburg, OH, seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead all EH&S programs at our manufacturing facility. The role develops, implements, and sustains comprehensive safety and environmental initiatives that ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive experience in environmental, health, and safety management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety and environmental programs.
• Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the facility's environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and training programs designed to prevent workplace injuries.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safety audits.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental events; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental programs, permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Maintain EH&S records, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training for employees, supervisors, and management.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR, and leadership to address EH&S risks.
• Lead initiatives on employee engagement, hazard recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor facility performance through EH&S metrics and report to leadership.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills.
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and external resources.
• Support annual EH&S objectives, budgets, and improvement plans.
• Promote a proactive culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead and manage all environmental, health, and safety programs for our manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive programs that promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the facility's environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and training programs designed to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills and response procedures.
• Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and other external resources as needed.

• Promote a proactive culture in which every employee understands and accepts responsibility for workplace safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of environmental management systems and safety management systems.
