Job summary

Pape' Kenworth in Portland, OR is seeking an Entry Truck Technician/Mechanic for day shift. You'll perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks, with training and career growth opportunities.

Recent graduates welcome; we offer dealer-supported education, competitive pay between $27.75 and $32.80 per hour, and strong benefits. Work week either Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat 7:00am-3:30pm; join a family-owned company with extensive inventory and commitment to uptime.

Qualifications

• One+ years experience working on automotive or diesel trucks.
• Diesel Tech Degree may substitute for experience.
• Familiarity with medium/heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support customers by maximizing uptime and building skills as a technician.
• Receive dealer-supported education and training alongside senior technicians.
• Work either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, 7:00am–3:30pm.
