Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join our team in Bakersfield. You will perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty trucks, with on‑the‑job training and mentorship from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks and 1+ years of experience working on vehicles.
• Will also accept applicants with a Diesel Tech Degree in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose problems and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner to maximize uptime for customers.
• Receive dealer-supported education and training while working with experienced technicians to build skills.
