• Process import declarations and customs entry documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Classify goods using HTSUS codes and ensure CBP compliance.
• Calculate transaction values and coordinate PGA claims with clients and internal teams.
• Communicate with clients via email to provide updates and resolve import-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate shipment clearance and movement.
• Maintain precise records of all import transactions and compliance documentation.
• Manage assigned book of business with independence and ownership.

As an Entry Specialist, you will own a book of business, process import declarations, and work directly with clients to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process import declarations and customs entry documentation accurately and efficiently
• Classify goods using HTSUS codes and ensure compliance with CBP requirements
• Calculate transaction values and handle PGA claims in coordination with clients and internal teams
• Communicate regularly with clients via email to provide updates and resolve import-related issues
• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate shipment clearance and movement
• Maintain precise records of all import transactions and compliance documentation
• Manage assigned book of business with independence and ownership

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience processing import entries and understanding CBP requirements
• Ability to classify goods, calculate dutiable values, and manage customs/PGA requirements
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working for a customs broker, U.S. importer, or in trade compliance preferred
• U.S. customs entry writing experience or related import operations knowledge is a plus
