Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Entry Phlebotomist I for our Port Charlotte, FL site, where you will support patient check-in, assist phlebotomists, and help maintain a calm, professional lobby environment. This role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling patient information.

You will greet patients, explain procedures, perform basic tasks in the lobby or draw room, and support coverage during breaks while learning phlebotomy duties under supervision, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of client facing customer service experience is required.
• Some phlebotomy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and answer questions with care and compassion.
• Maintain waiting area and assist with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
• Utilize phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure understanding and trust.
• Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment and accurate records.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public while learning new skills.
