Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, invites entry-level Wind Technician Level 1 to join the TOP Wind Service program. You will receive structured safety and technical training and operate on-site as part of a service team, performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment.

This full-time role offers hands-on training, opportunities to advance in a growing renewable energy company, and a strong benefits package as you gain field experience.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship not provided).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.
• Associate degree or technical experience preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical background preferred.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following procedures.
• Demonstrate safe tool use and procedures.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
