Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers an entry-level Wind Technician development program (TOP) where you train, work at local wind sites, and join a collaborative service team focused on safe and efficient turbine maintenance.

You will receive comprehensive safety and technical instruction and be eligible for a structured career path within Sky Climber’s wind power operations, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.

Skills
