Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables invites entry-level Wind Technician candidates to join the TOP Wind Service Technician Development Program. Trainees receive exclusive safety and technical training, including GWO accreditation, and work on wind sites near home as part of a service team ensuring safe turbine maintenance.

Program graduates gain hands-on experience, with opportunities to advance within Sky Climber’s wind field services network and grow technical skills through structured training and on-site

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating to the area.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
