Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Services Team in Denver, CO. Under direct supervision, you can expect to perform basic calculations, modeling, data analyses, and designs for water resources projects, including climate adaptation, hydrology, and water quality.

You will gain exposure to GIS, CADD, and modeling tools while developing technical and communication skills, with travel up to 10% and opportunities to contribute to posters or conference

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Coastal or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0 years of professional experience; domestic/international travel may be required.
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulics and engineering design principles; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic calculations, modeling, data analysis and design tasks for water resources projects.
  • Support on-site evaluations and environmental and water-related analyses.
  • Assist with poster or conference material development as directed.
