Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Water Resources Engineer to join our Water Services Team in Denver, CO. You will perform basic calculations, modeling, data analysis, and designs for water resources projects under direct supervision, contributing to climate adaptation, flood management, and watershed planning initiatives.

As part of a collaborative team, you will use GIS and CADD tools, communicate findings effectively, and support TKM content development and conference materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Coastal or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic complexity calculations, modeling, data analysis, and designs for water resources projects.
• Conduct on-site evaluations and other similar assessments.
• Support planning, economics, and watershed management tasks.
• Assist with quality control and documentation using TKM systems.
