Job summary

Western Midstream invites applications for an entry-level Recycle Operator role supporting daily water recycling system operations. You will monitor filtration units, basins, and chemical dosing under supervision, with focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You must live within 75 miles of Carlsbad, NM, and be able to work a 7 on, 7 schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays. No sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in water treatment, oilfield operations, or a related industrial environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of water treatment processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment processes including filtration units, sedimentation basins, and chemical dosing under supervision.
• Perform daily visual inspections of water recycling facilities and report abnormal conditions to supervisors.
• Record operational data such as water volumes and system parameters accurately.
• Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Follow established safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
• Support the team in maintaining clean, compliant, and safe work environments.
• Participate in training programs to develop operational knowledge and skills.
