Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry level Test & Integration System Engineer in Goleta, CA. You will join the SI&T team to verify and validate EO/IR sensor systems, develop test plans, and assist with system integration in lab and field environments.

The role requires a STEM degree and hands-on work with firmware, software and hardware integration, plus lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies and spectrum analyzers. This onsite position includes competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
Experience integrating firmware, software and hardware with lab equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers).

Responsibilities

Support IV&V, DVT and production testing for EO/IR Focal Plane array sensor systems.
Develop test plans and execute product test activities for engineering and production builds.
Execute technical decisions and apply standard engineering methods within the SI&T organization.
Develop requirements, create test procedures, integrate new systems, perform system testing and support lifecycle requirements.
